Funny, I was just watching a re-run of the show, and plugged "Paris is out of control" along with "Must Love Kids" into Google, and it's apparent I am not the only one who feels that way! While I wouldn't call Paris "evil" and "demonic" as Kam did here, I would say she is a brat and Tracy has no idea about how to control her. She screams and cries and tantrums like a toddler, and Tracy says things to her, but never enforces it.

This is a good example of what NOT to do as a single parent (and yes, I am a single parent with sole custody of a toddler, so I am qualified to speak on this subject, at least a bit).

Hi, I have been single for a year now with two young children. I'm young, 25, and work my butt off with no involvement from their father,(he is dealing with some very serious issues.) I am very independent own a house and have done very well the last year on my own. I have just recently wanted to start dating, but I'm terrified. I am going on my first date this week and the issue with time has already been a problem. I work two jobs and coach soccer, and hate giving up anytime with my kids, but I know I need time for myself. Plus, I do want someone in my life. I have no idea how to juggle this or even began to think about the other issues involved with having a man in my life. I totally understand what Jenny is saying, it seems crazy for someone to come into our inner circle, but since my kids our young, I really want them to have the love of a father. I know I am totally getting ahead of myself, but for me I'm not looking to date around, in my eyes that's a waste of my time and my kids time. To top it off, I have major trust issues. Am I a total mess?

I have been watching "Must Love Kids" and am most anxious to see who each of the ladies ends up with. Kristen and Vanessa are great moms with good kids, but if Tracy ever ends up with a man it will be a miracle!

Paris is an evil, demonic child and Tracy is too caught up in being cute (but not succeeding) to even notice that she has raised a brat! My mother always taught me that pretty is, as pretty does. Paris is one UGLY kid with the way she behaves. I just watched the episode where one of the guys cooked pizza and Paris refused to eat it. So, what does Tracy do? Gives her a chocolate doughnut AND chocolate milk! Just what an out of control, super hyperactive, bratty kid needs.

Some people should not be able to procreate! Does Paris have a father in her life? If so, he must be failing at parenting as much as Tracy is. Tracy is on the wrong show. She should have signed up for "Nanny 911" instead!

Oh, it is nice to see your blog. I am a divorced now two years...and dad is around to help out...but dating again at 35 with a 14 year old daughter around and a 9 year old son is difficult.
I love them so dearly and don't even want anyone to attempt to enter our inner bubble. However, I still look good and love to go out and I want some male companionship. As a bartender too, I am bombarded with date invites...but too scared to accept. I usually go out on one date, and no matter how great, never go out with the guy again...I can't handle the pressure.
